Privacy Policy

1. The Gist

I am building sedmice-online as a hobby project. I care about your privacy as much as my own. I don't sell your data, I don't track you across the web, and I only collect what is absolutely necessary to make the game work and listen to your feedback.

2. Data Collection & Usage

• Feedback: If you use the feedback form, the text you write is sent to a private Discord channel for me to read. Please don't include sensitive personal info in your messages!
• Technical Logs: Our host, Cloudflare, may collect standard technical data like your IP address to protect the site from bots and attacks.
• Analytics: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first. It does not use cookies and does not track you personally. It just tells me "10 people played today."
• Cookies: The site uses minimal cookies only for essential functions like Cloudflare Turnstile (CAPTCHA) to prevent spam in the feedback form.

3. Third Parties

To keep this game running for free, I use these services:

• Cloudflare: Hosts the game and runs the "serverless" code for the feedback form.
• Discord: Receives and stores the feedback you send so I can read it.

4. Cookies

We do not use any advertising or tracking cookies. Any cookies you see from Cloudflare are "strictly necessary" technical cookies used for security and bot protection.

5. Your Rights

Even though I store very little, you still have the right to know what I have. Since I don't use accounts, I can't easily "look up" your data unless you included your name/email in a feedback message. If you want me to delete a message you sent, contact me through the same feedback form.

6. Changes

If I make significant changes to this policy, I'll update the date at the top and post a notice on the site. Please check back occasionally to stay informed.
